This is the sacred enclosure of the most important buildings and buildings, including a pagoda (Daitō) dedicated to Dai Nichi Nyorai; kon-dō, founded by Kūkai but rebuilt in 1929; The Fudō-dō which was built in the th century by Gyosho and includes the eight guards and statues of Fudō. The enclosure also houses the Mie-dō pavilion with a portrait of Kūkai. Later, the Saitō, of the Shintō sanctuaries, houses the deities that protect the monastery. We will also note a large red pagoda dating from the Heian period, the Kompon Daito. This is a Shingon construction typical of the doctrine of esoteric Buddhism. The Kondo, «Golden Pavilion», houses a representation of Bhaisajyaguru, Buddha's Buddha.

Ce magnifique complexe de temple est sans aucun doute un des plus beaux du Japon. Le tout est situé dans un cadre idyllique, à faire!
