SANADA MUSEUM OF KUDOYAMA
This new museum has been built in the architectural style of an old samurai house, respecting the specificities. It is dedicated to Yukimura Sanada, a 16th century military figure. This man is considered to be the last great commander of the period of the Fighting Kingdoms. In the entrance, one is greeted by three representations in armor of Sanada Masayuki, Yukimura and Daisuke. The museum traces different eras from the Ueda era to the siege of Osaka. NHK has produced a series on Sanada and some costumes are on display.
