Country church of beautiful size and Romanesque style built in white limestone cribs
This beautiful country church is located 5 kilometres from the nearest houses. In Romanesque style, dating back to the 12th and 13th centuries, Notre-Dame de Cabu Abbas is probably built on a former pagan place of worship, like many Sardinian churches lost in the middle of nowhere . It is built in white limestone claves. The interior, consisting of a single nave without chapels, rests on four pointed arches.
