Nagoro is a small village in the Iya Valley, which has become a rather mysterious tourist destination. Hundreds of dolls made of paper and cloth can be seen there. It is a Japanese woman, Ayano Tsukimi, who is at the origin of this idea of life-size dolls. Some of them are even in the effigy of former inhabitants. Mrs. Tsukimi came up with this idea to fight against the decrease in the village's population and loneliness. The wager was successful and the place became famous.
