One of the oldest campsites built by Disney around its parks, popular comfort levels from tent to pitch

This campground is one of the oldest sites built by Disney around its parks. It has been completely renovated and very well equipped, in the heart of a vast wooded area. It offers several levels of comfort, from tents to RV sites. Among the services: grill available, baby-sitting, pets allowed, bus to the parks... in short a little paradise for the whole family. It is a good alternative to the more expensive resorts offered by Disney.

We love Fort Wildreness. We've made three trips here and have 2 more booked.

The promise of WiFi at the Fort is false.

Back again for another few days of R&R.
We've been going to Fort Wilderness for about 45 years. Most times we just enjoy the campground facilities and don't visit the overpriced parks.
We used to have a pop-up camp trailer, now a small class C RV.

It's hard to beat Disney's Fort Wilderness Campground. Most of the sites are wooded and private, clean and lots of things to do for the family.

This used to be our favorite place ever to camp, now it seems things have sure changed for the worst. All that overgrown golf carts that are super lifted, radios blasting, speeding all over and security does nothing. 3, 4 cars and or trucks parked on one site, hanging onto to roadway. People putting up tables with canopies in the woods right on the dog walking path so you can't get through right behind our site with over 20 plus people making noise till well over 12. Huge firepit that is clearly against the rules with huge flames. It isn't what it used to be here like when people had to follow the rules and security actually did their jobs. I called and no one bothered to even come out. I pay too much money to stay here and have to put up with rude people.
