A four-panel carousel with an upbeat musical theme, offering a historic and family favorite attraction.
The Carrousel of Progress presents the life of a family from the beginning of the 20th century to "our days", and the technological progression over time. Between each of the 4 scenes, the sitting part turns around the central scene to reveal the next scene. The musical theme encourages optimism: There's a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow. Although a little outdated, this attraction is historical: it was designed by Walt Disney for the New York International Fair in 1964 before being transferred here 10 years later. It was his favorite attraction.
