Very old church in black trachyte located at the entrance of the village of Ardara
At the entrance to the village of Ardara stands an imposing and very old church made of black trachyte. The façade has a cruciform window and, just below, a two-lobed window. The interior contrasts with the severity of the façade: all the columns are painted with portraits of saints on a human scale, and the altar is richly coloured. Consecrated in 1107, it was built on the will of the sister of the Judge of Torres. Several judges took an oath there.
