CHIESA DI SANTA VITTORIA
Church with a simple two-sloped roof built with the funds of the Manca family
This church was built between 1400 and 1590 with funds from the Manca family, who wanted to commemorate the victory of the Catalan-Aragonese over the Judgement of the Tree. Their coat of arms can be seen on the capital to the right of the small triumphal arch. The simple two-pitched roof was adopted when the chapels were built, as the architect thought it would make the building lighter. The facade of the church has an Aragonese style, while the spirit of the Renaissance is expressed in the arches of the chapels.
