Pleasant restaurant serving fresh seasonal produce in the old village school in Saint-Daunès.
On the road between Cahors and Montcuq, L'école is a good place to treat yourself in a pleasant setting. At lunchtime, only the set menu is available, but it's well worth the detour, with fresh seasonal produce cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. In the evening, a menu is offered on binder sheets, so we're in the old village school: start with a goat's cheese aumônière or a beef carpaccio, then go for the beef rendang or the fish of the day, to finish with the chocolate moelleux and its mascarpone cream. You've got it!
