MUSEE DES ENFANTS DU LOUVRE ABU DHABI
The Children's Museum hosts an artistic and playful exhibition on emotions for children aged four to ten.
The Children's Museum reopened its doors to families and children in 2021 with a beautiful exhibition in French, English and Arabic, entitled "Emotions! The New Art'Aventure" open until 2023. With its interactive workshops and immersive experiences, it will particularly appeal to families with children aged 4 to 10. The goal is to inspire young minds, to make them discover all the emotions and to teach them artistic techniques and ideas in a playful way. The little ones start their artistic "adventure" at the exhibition by creating a personal profile and getting a bracelet to collect points through activities and challenges. They discover works of art from different geographic locations and time periods through a series of observation games, looking for hidden details and the stories behind each work. Various art activities such as drawing, collage and 3D art allow children to represent emotions. Children also learn how their emotions can be expressed through body language via a non-contact interactive game using movement recognition. The educational games and experiences help children learn empathy, express their emotions openly, identify and let go of unpleasant feelings, and understand that all emotions are acceptable.
