The public organization "Winter Olympics 1984" (Zimskih Olimpijskih Igara 1984) manages most of the infrastructure inherited from the Winter Olympics in Sarajevo. As such, it is responsible for the ski area Bjelašnica-Igman formed by the resorts of Malo Polje, Veliko Polje and Bjelašnica. He is responsible for the sale of ski passes, snow guns, the operation of lifts and the organization of rescue services in the area. However, the large Olympic resort of Jahorina in the Serbian Republic of Bosnia is not under the authority of ZOI 84.
