Carol Duval-Leroy belongs to the very select circle of "champagne women". Based in Vertus, she took over the family business following the sudden death of her husband in 1991, and has turned it into an example of finesse and elegance. Never one to rest on her laurels, Carole had to learn to master the work of the vineyard, the specific fundamentals of which she was unaware. A battling woman, she raised the house to the ranks of the greatest names and made Champagne Duval-Leroy a benchmark. In 2000, with the help of her cellar master, Sandrine Logette Jardin, she launched the cuvée "Femme de Champagne", a blend of the finest chardonnays and the roundness of pinot noir, a champagne in the image of this woman who is given freshness, vivacity and prestige.
