Bucolic, in a lounge-vegetal spirit, this magnificent terrace, rustling with life and joy, is drowned in ferns and green plants. We're in the Quartier des Serres, Mauritius's finest living and shopping area, surrounded by orchards and gardens. The menu draws on local fruit and vegetables and produce from the Domaine: mixed salads, quiches, paninis, small Mauritian or vegetarian dishes, crêpes... At any time of day, you can drop in for a juice, a lunch or a treat... Also the Salle à Manger for a cool lunch (air-conditioned).

Le repas est bon, le service à quelques loupé, mais dans l'ensemble super endroit, convivial.

Came here on a weekday around lunch. It was pretty busy, but we got lucky and got seated immediately at a table.
After browsing the menu I went for the fish of the day, which was red snapper, along with some fries and fresh pineapple juice.
The pineapple juice came and it was certainly prepared freshly without any sugars, which was great.
After a short wait, the red snapper arrived with a hefty portion of salad, butter sauce and smoked aubergine - the fries too!
Taking a bite into the fish and this was lightly grilled and tasted delicious. I enjoyed the flavours. You can tell it was cooked to perfection as the fish retains its moisture. The salad tasted great, nice variety and dressing used was lovely. The butter sauce was light and complimented the fish nicely.
Fries were good too, crispy and fluffy on the inside.
Service was efficient and friendly.
Overall, really enjoyed the food. The fish was cooked to perfection and I can’t really fault this place. I wasn’t actually expecting this to be so good, so it was a pleasant surprise too.
Recommend if you are in the area or visiting Chateau Labourdonnais on the way.

Too hot to be there .. Need more ventilation system
