An enclosed, pedestrian area unique in Mauritius, this living and shopping space has been designed in the same spirit of preservation as the Domaine that serves as its setting (park, Château) and is set in the magnificent natural surroundings of the greenhouses whose name it bears. In the subdued shade of the canopies, the airy, plant-filled pedestrian areas are divided between juice and snack kiosks, a terrace restaurant, a delicatessen, a wellness center, and a range of ultra-quality boutiques rarely found elsewhere in Mauritius (Helios, By Agathe Besse, Must, Bel Ami...)!

Owner's Message
Just a hundred meters from the château is the Quartier des Serres , an atypical shopping center created in the heart of a former anthurium greenhouse. With its lush vegetation, including exceptional tropical gardens that enchant nature lovers, harmonious architecture and ecological spirit, Quartier des Serres is a pedestrian district that preserves the existing heritage. This originality gives the project a unique and profoundly Mauritian character.
This green setting houses La Terrasse restaurant, La Corbeille delicatessen, a nursery, offices, a coworking space, a hall dedicated to cultural and recreational activities (drawing/theatrical workshops, concerts, various markets showcasing local artisans), as well as various boutiques unique to Mauritius. This magnificent setting has been designed not only for shopping, but also for relaxing, disconnecting from the world, having a coffee or a drink with friends, going to see a show or an exhibition, or taking part in various events.
