Unavoidable specialities to be tasted in an establishment with a rustic decoration.
Morakopf is THE star of Niedermorschwihr! The chef Lukas Edl is a marvellous chef when it comes to specialities that are not to be missed: duck foie gras, presskopf, sauerkraut, baeckaoffe, wadle, fleischnacka, bibeleskas, tartes flambées... Poultry ravioli with foie gras and wild boar back in hazelnut crust are also very popular. Excellent selection of Alsatian vintages, notably the Cuvée Morakopf (a delicious blend of pinot blanc, pinot gris and gewurztraminer). Charming rustic decoration, good-natured welcome and succulent dishes: we love Morakopf!
