ÉGLISE SAINT-JEAN
This small, white-walled Serbian Orthodox church (Црква Светог Јована/Crkva svetog Jovana, Kisha e Shën Gjonit) was probably built before the 13th century. Dedicated to St. John the Baptist, it houses frescoes done in the 1580's. In the narthex, notice a beautiful scene of St. Mary the Egyptian taking communion in the desert. Continuing towards the village, below the hill is a monument installed in 2009 bearing the names of 84 Serbian inhabitants of the municipality of Rahovec/Orahovac killed or missing in the years 1998-2000.
