Jelsa is the best preserved seaside town in Ryfylke and has been named the most idyllic town in Rogaland. Here you can walk through the old quarters, wandering the streets between the white wooden houses. There is also a large beach that you can use in summer. One hour by boat from Stavanger you will find the hotel Jelsa. The hotel opened a summer restaurant in July 2021. The rest of the hotel with accommodation will open at Easter 2022. A unique and authentic place where you will get a taste of the Norwegian summer life.
