Hotel Trolltunga is ideally located in the heart of Odda town. The beautiful building dates back to 1928 but was renovated in 2017. In 2021, more rooms were added to the floor of a new wing, as well as a spectacular glass restaurant in front of the hotel. The interior is a mix of Nordic, modern and retro decor. The direct environment is incredible: mountains, waterfalls and glacier water. Nature is the main background. An ideal base camp for exploring the beautiful Hardanger region.

Double room in the older part of the hotel, decorated in pleasant green colors, comfortable bed, desk and flat-screen TV. The rooms have a fantastic view of the lake.

Double Room PLUS
Double Room PLUS surprises with a panoramic view over the entire Odda valley. The extension the rooms are located in was completed in 2016 and 2021. The rooms are inspired by the great pioneer era surrounding industrial development in the area. Sitting area, small desk, flat screen TV, modern bathroom with heating cables and more.

Double/Twin Room without Bathroom
Our double rooms with shared bathroom were renovated in 2017. You will find a shower and WC in the hallway. The villa building does not have a lift. Some rooms are located in the second and third floors. Most rooms have two separate beds (2x75 or 90 cm). Please contact reception if you would like a different bed arrangement. We will do our best to meet your wishes. The reception/lounge/bar has wifi, TV and pleasant seating areas.

Trolltunga Gateway Cabin
Trolltunga Gateway Cabin, is situated 5 km hiking along the trail to Trolltunga. Breakfast not included. The cabin is a traditional Norwegian mountain cabin, surrounded with a picturesque scenery, fresh air, fresh mountainwater, an harmonic atmosphere.
At the gateway to Trolltunga we have a cabin available for rental during the high season/june-sept. The cabin is situated at Mågelitopp, only 8 km hiking from Trolltunga. You drive from the senter of Odda to Skjeggedal/P2, you can drive or walk to Mågelitopp/P3, and and then its 1 km hiking to the cabin. The cabin has 3 bedroms with 2 beds each, an annex with 3 beds. Kitchen, bathroom, an amazing fireplace. Selfserved dinner and breakfast.

You drive from the senter of Odda to Skjeggedal/P2, you can drive or walk to Mågelitopp/P3, and and then its 1 km hiking to the cabin. The cabin has 3 bedroms with 2 beds each, an annex with 3 beds. Kitchen, bathroom, an amazing fireplace. Selfserved dinner and breakfast.

Wir waren für eine Nacht da, für länger wäre das Zimmer auch viel zu klein. Es hatte ziemlichen Jugendherbergecharakter. Es ist völlig überteuert, zum verglich mit anderen Hotels in Norwegen. Das Personal war nicht besonders freundlich und das Frühstück war auch sehr dürftig und hat auch nicht geschmeckt.

Koselig lite hotel som ligger sør av Odda sentrum. Litt trafikk på utsiden, men det høres nesten ikke pga elven som renner forby. Fantastisk god mat. Husk å bestill bord. Veldig populært. Hyggelig betjening. Rommet er okey.

Bedbug alert⚠️ Stay away if you don’t want to deal with rude staff gaslighting you. I noticed the sheets had bedbug droppings, and staff was awful. I ended up with bites, taking some of those bugs in my luggage. Save your self the trouble and find another place with cleaner facilities, and nicer staff.

Very nice building and cleans rooms. Great view for breakfast (could have used a toaster at breakfast). Wi-Fi is really slow though. Wish the rooms had a mini fridge. Stayed here two nights while we hiked Trolltunga.
