After 30 years of operation on a replica paddle-steamer floating on Lake Pontchartrain, which gave it its charm, this historic casino is now located on dry land, not far from the old one. Opening in June 2024, the new Treasure Chest offers twice as much gaming space, with 32 gaming tables (blackjack, poker, roulette, etc.) and nearly 1,000 slot machines. The casino also includes four new restaurants, from simple cafés to steakhouses, as well as a ballroom for meetings and events.
