Don't worry if you think you're lost in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by the countryside and a total lack of signs of life. This little temple of the blues is indeed off the beaten path, but it's worth the drive (the bar's entrance is at the intersection of Heck Young Road). The place alone is completely offbeat, with its busy decor and definitely modest, retro look. In fact, it was the house where the founder of the place, Lloyd "Teddy" Johnson, grew up. To be sure to see the best shows, go on weekends.
