SAINT JULIET'S CHURCH
Church featuring a stained glass window showing Saint Cyr and his mother Saint Juliette, both martyred in 304
Nestled between the banks of the Dive River and the hillsides is the charming village of Saint-Chartres overlooked by its 12th century church of Sainte-Juliette. The church has a stained glass window showing Saint Cyr with his mother Saint Juliette, both martyred in the year 304. You can also see the 18th century statue "Notre Dame de Bon Lait" representing the Virgin Mary nursing her baby Jesus. The surrounding area, made up of old houses renovated by their owners, is also very pleasant to discover.
