Monumental staircase of 22 steps with the remains of the fallen men.
The work was inaugurated in 1938, during the fascist period. It is a monumental staircase of 22 steps under which are deposited the remains of the fallen men. Their engraved names are accompanied by the word presente repeated over and over again. At the bottom are the graves of the Duke of Aosta, commander of the III Brigade, and his generals. At the top of the steps, two tombs hold the remains of unknown soldiers. Powerful and moving.
