The first roadhouse on the Stuart Highway coming from Alice Springs, 90 km south. Camping, basic cabins and a typical outback bar-restaurant. Gas, BBQ, bar, laundry and parking. A good base for exploring Rainbow Valley but also Chambers Pillar and Henbury Meteorite Crater. They offer guided tours. From its 50-meter height, the Chambers Pillar formation gives the impression of looking out over the desert. Ask here about trail conditions, especially if you want to go to Rainbow Valley without a 4WD.
