TRANKILA LOUNGE

This darkly atmospheric restaurant is first and foremost a shisha bar. Middle-class Jeddah residents, young and old, make it their habit to dine here, in couples or with friends. But it's also a very good place to dine, serving Spanish and Moroccan cuisine. The menu includes seafood, paella and tajines, all of which are particularly tasty. The staff are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere relaxed. For once, you can sit alone without provoking curious or insistent glances. A small terrace means you can sit outside in winter.
