GALVANS GORGE
Site located in Derby to find a gorge (Galvans Gorge), two waterfalls and Aboriginal paintings.
Galvans Gorge is easily accessible from the Gibb River Road, just one mile away. Two waterfalls, one above the other. A rope and a piece of wood are used as a swing to throw you into this large natural turquoise pool. Aboriginal paintings. It can get crowded in high season.
For another beautiful swim, 20 km away is the grandiose Adcock Gorge, with its reddish cliffs, illuminated at sunset. These two gorges are not suitable for camping, you have to go to Manning Gorge or to Imintji Campground.
