Half Moon Bay is a natural bay 40 km south of Dammam. It is a favorite place for Saudis who live in the area to come and relax with their families on weekends. A few developed beaches line the bay, with cabanas quickly taken over at picnic time, as well as a few hotels and a water park. The shallow water makes it possible to swim safely with young children. But be careful, women must remain covered.
