This hotel is one of the few truly historic establishments in Saudi Arabia. It occupies an old house in the Al Koud district, opposite Ibrahim's palace. The 7 rooms are arranged in the rooms surrounding the inner patio, on the first floor and upstairs. Each has its own style and charm, and all are beautifully decorated with antique furniture, even if some are rather cramped. The restaurant, open to all, is set in the patio and serves traditional Al-Ahsa cuisine, including the famous Assawi red rice.
