HOUSE OF ALLEGIANCE - AL-BIAH HOUSE
This historic house, built in 1789, was once the residence of the Islamic judge Abdul Latif bin Abdul Rahman al Mulla.
The House of Allegiance is an important historical place in Al Hofuf. Located in the old quarter of Koud, it was in this house that King Abdulaziz surrendered in 1913 after the battle of Al-Ahsa. It was here that the Prince of Al-Ahsa came to swear allegiance to him on behalf of his people. This house dating from 1789 was the residence of Abdul Latif bin Abdul Rahman al Mulla, the Islamic judge of the region. It has now been transformed into a small museum.
