Al Aan Palace is one of Najran's finest and best-preserved architectural legacies. It is built on top of a small hill, surrounded by a thick wall and guarded by towers. The mud-brick palace rests on a stone foundation, in accordance with local techniques. The ceilings are made of wood and palm trunks. The palace is 3 storeys high, with each family occupying a separate floor. The palace dates back to 1688 and underwent a complete renovation in 2018. Clothing, tools and pottery are on display in the rooms.
