High City is a collection of chic cafés overlooking the mountains that encircle Abha. It's also a vision of modern Saudi Arabia, which is trying to offer its inhabitants places to go out at night. The place, which aims to be a little select, imposes an entrance fee. The cafés occupy a multi-storey glass and steel bar, and boast beautiful terraces overlooking the city. These are quickly snapped up just before sunset. Climb to the top of High City for a breathtaking view of the other side.
