RIJAL ALMA'A MUSEUM
Museum featuring a collection of weapons and farming tools, as well as an amphitheater for folklore performances.
Rijal Alma'a boasts some sixty stone houses and palaces set against the foot of the mountain at the bottom of the valley. One of the palaces has been converted into a museum by the villagers, who are keen to safeguard their dwindling heritage. While the dusty collection of weapons and farming implements is of limited interest, it's an opportunity to step inside one of these austere houses filled with mystery. The large amphitheatre at the foot of the village hosts folklore shows in summer. This is where the locals used to gather for celebrations.
