THE SEVEN MOSQUES
This complex of small historic mosques built south of Mount Sala' in Medina bears witness to the Battle of the Trench.
The 7 Mosques are three in number. They are a complex of small historic mosques built south of Mount Sala', where the Battle of the Trench took place. Some pilgrims come here, although none of these mosques was designated as a place of pilgrimage by the Prophet. Only Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem are worthy of a visit by Muslims. The al-Fath, al-Farsi and Abu Bakr Siddi mosques were razed and then rebuilt as one. During your visit, you'll see just 3 buildings.
