ASTORIA CAFFE PIZZERIA

This pizzeria not only makes good pizzas, but also offers a wide selection of local dishes. The terrace is next to the small university of Pale and overlooks the facade of the city's main Serbian Orthodox place of worship, the Church of the Archangel Gabriel, erected in 2008 in a haphazard neo-Byzantine style. Warmly recommended by the locals, this restaurant probably doesn't deserve as much praise: a little too much sauce, fries and loud music for our taste. But if we stick to the pizzas, we almost forget about the decibels.
