IRISH PUB SPANCIL HILL

While Široki Brijeg is known for its red wines made from blatina grapes, this pub with a true Irish decor (it almost feels like it) offers whiskies, some food and a wide selection of local and foreign beers. It's also home to Lovac Craft Pivovara Microbrewery, founded in 2017, which produces about 35,000 liters of beer a year. The Lovac ("hunter") lineup evolves each year, but there is a very pleasant pale ale and porter as well as the surprising Lovac Barrique, aged with a bit of honey in a blatina oak barrel.
