Established in 1979, this museum-gallery (Franjevački Muzej i Galerija) is housed in the city's large Catholic monastery founded in 1846. It consists of two rooms, one of which is devoted to the country's painters and sculptors. The second room contains liturgical objects, rare books and manuscripts, as well as paintings, including several canvases by Italian Baroque painters (17th-18th centuries) and a work by Eugene Delacroix, The Genius and Reason (ca. 1850).
