ÉGLISE SAINT-MITRA
Elegant, small-scale Catholic church on Oblat hill, with facade bell tower and lauze roof.
This Catholic church (Crkva Svetog Mitra) stands on Oblat Hill (353 m above sea level), overlooking Ravno (to the east) and the Trebišnjica River (to the south). Dating from the 14th or 15th century, it is dedicated to "Saint Mitra", diminutive of the Dalmatian saint Demetrios of Sirmium, whose cult is confused with that of Saint Demetrios of Thessaloniki. Small in size (7.47 x 4.57 m), it is very elegant with its bell tower and its roof of lauze. Around it stand several elements, including a modern metal cross and two stećci from the late Middle Ages.
