A small Serbian Orthodox church, one of the few in the country to preserve frescoes painted before the Ottoman invasion.
This small, slate-covered Serbian Orthodox church (Crkva svetog Nikole u Srđevićima/Црква Светог Николе у Срђевићима) was erected in the 16th century for the noble families Srđevići and Trkovići : the Srđevići gave their name to the hamlet (40 inhabitants, all Bosnian-Serbs) and three Trkovići are buried there. Half-buried in the ground and small in size (10.2 x 6.5 m), it is one of the few churches in the country to preserve frescoes painted before the Ottoman invasion.
