A small forest classified as a natural monument, between the villages of Zaselje and Hadrovci, home to a subspecies of Balkan beech.
This small forest of 0.5 ha is classified as a "natural monument" (Spomenik Prirode Žuta Bukva/Жута буква) since 2012. Located at 595 m above sea level, between the villages of Zaselje/Засеље and Hadrovci/Хадровци, it is home to a subspecies of the Balkan beech: the yellow beech(Fagus moesiaca aurea serbica) or žuta bukva in Bosnian-Serbo-Croatian. Identified in 2006 and not found anywhere else, it is distinguished by its golden leaves which, in summer, bring a singular touch to the Riejka valley. Right next door, the restaurant Žuta Bukva offers a good baked lamb.
