A fortress in the foothills of the Osječenica massif with a 16 m-high tower and two sections of wall.
Situated in the foothills of the Osječenica massif, on top of a hill at 725 m above sea level, this fortress (Stari Grad Bjelaj) offers a beautiful panorama of the envions. It retains a large tower of 16 m in height and two portions of walls. The date of its creation is unknown, but it was rebuilt by the Ottomans after their arrival, around 1530, and allowed them to block the road to the Austro-Hungarian army in a decisive victory on July 19, 1737. On the nearby hill, 400 m to the northwest, traces of a Neolithic fort remain.
