FORÊT PRIMAIRE DE LOM
Forest on the Klekovača massif home to beech, fir and spruce trees as well as bears, deer and wild boar.
This 298 ha forest (Prašuma Lom/Прашума Лом) is described as "primary" because it has undergone no visible transformation by man. Consisting of 82% beech, fir and spruce trees, it is located on the Klekovača massif, between 1,250 and 1,522 m above sea level. All human activity is prohibited in the heart of the forest (55.8 ha) which has been protected since 1956. Among other things, there are bears, deer and wild boar, but also snow until July and even September. For a visit, contact the forestry company Oštrelj-Drinić.
