NIŞANS DE LA FAMILLE KAJTAZOVIĆ
Family cemetery housing sixteen nişans decorated by local craftsmen, including those of men exceeding 3 m in height.
This family cemetery (Kajtazovića Nišani) houses sixteen nişans erected between 1913 and 1950. It is typical of the region with its steles inherited from Ottoman culture installed on the roadside. But it is distinguished by the height of the men's nişans, some of which exceed 3 m. The decoration was made by local craftsmen: turban, plant motifs, weapons and inscription in Ottoman (Turkish in Arabic script). The Kajtazović family remains present in Cazin, Pećigrad and Bihać.
