Ballooning in Bosnia-Herzegovina is a rare and demanding activity: flights take place very early in the morning, with appointments between 5:30 and 7:00 am, in order to avoid the hot air currents emanating from the ground. If the prices may seem high, the ride in the air is about 20% cheaper than in France. The company that operates these balloons is very professional (insurance, nice welcome...) and the views offered are simply magnificent, especially in the natural park of Blidinje. Other flights are possible in the whole southern part of the country.
