Located at the foot of Mount Čvrsnica, this village (pronounced "rizovats") is populated by 70 Bosnian-Croat inhabitants and is home to a ski resort. This has 4 km of slopes (from 1,290 to 1,551 m above sea level), three lifts, the Staza restaurant and accommodation, including the Bosco apartments ([email protected]). It is also the starting point for several hiking trails, including the one leading to the Haïdouk Gate. 3 km north of the resort is the medieval necropolis of Risovac with 41 stećci (GPS: 43.670556, 17.577778).
