VILLAGE FOLKLORIQUE DE MAČKOVAC
A small tourist complex housing and preserving a dozen reproductions of Bosnian wooden houses from the Ottoman period.
Established in 2012, this small tourist complex(Etno Avlija Mačkovac) features a dozen reproductions of Bosnian wooden houses from the 15th to the 19th century. There is a museum, boutique workshops and a restaurant. If you eat there, opt for a trout caught in the Oskova River, which flows right by and descends from Mount Konjuh. For more authenticity, it is better to go to Gornja Tuzla (11 km northeast of Tuzla), a village that preserves many houses from the Ottoman period.
