Small Catholic church at 490 m altitude on a hilltop with a beautiful view over the Lašva valley.
Located on a hilltop, 490 meters above sea level, this small Catholic church (Crkva Gospe Žalosne) enjoys a beautiful view of the Lašva Valley. Built in 1912 by the Jesuits on Roman remains, it is accessible by an impressive way of the cross that zigzags along the hill called Sveta Gora ("holy mountain") or Kalvarija ("calvary"). But the back part of this same hill has been nibbled since 1948 by a huge dolomite quarry.
