This huge 19th-century Catholic convent (Franjevački Samostan Kraljeva Sutjeska) is located in the village of Kraljeva Sutjeska, populated by 300 mostly Bosnian-Croat inhabitants. Built on the site of a 14th century monastery, it includes the church of St. John the Baptist, whose two steeples rise to a height of 45 meters. The museum and the library house numerous liturgical objects and a rich collection of incunabula classified as national heritage.
