The Imax Grand Canyon Theater shows a 34-minute panoramic film of the Grand Canyon
The Imax Grand Canyon Theater is located in the same building as the Grand Canyon Visitor Center (which sells park tickets, information about the area and souvenirs). Equipped with a giant screen with 6-track Dolby stereo surround sound, the theater projects an immersive film about the Grand Canyon. The film being shown starting in 2023 is called Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time. It follows the explorers of the Grand Canyon from the time of the conquistadors, who were the first Europeans to enter the region.
