The Garmen Hills does not only welcome you to stay in charming accommodations. Its French owner and his friendly team offer you organized outings to discover the richness of the surroundings as many exciting micro-adventures. You leave for a day trip on the footpaths through the forests and the wild mountains of the Rhodopes. Some of you will even come across a bear by chance! You will discover one of these preserved mountain villages, such as Kovatechvista, where you can admire the architectural heritage of these houses combining wooden frames, bricks, stones and raw earth. In accordance with the Bulgarian renaissance period, these houses are built on several floors with overhanging balconies on the second floor. The ensemble is harmonious and integrated into the wooded mountain landscape to great effect. You will also discover natural jewels such as the Trigrad gorge, its cave or the Yagodina gorge. You can even go for two days with bivouac in the middle of nature and access to totally isolated wild spaces, in complete safety, of course. Before your excursions, you can spend a pleasant evening concocting a customized itinerary with your hosts, who know the region well and are always ready to share their passion for the Rhodopes with you.
