Named after the first juice extracted from sugar cane, this continuously open restaurant-tea room occupies a Creole-style house on the site of the Sugar Adventure Museum. The huge covered terrace enjoys a cool, leafy setting, partly overlooking Mount Pieter Both. The Mauritian-inspired menu features gourmet regional cuisine, complemented by delicious desserts based on natural brown sugars - with a slight preference for the soft dark chocolate and molasses sugar center, white chocolate and coconut truffle. Yummy!
