Signaled by a medieval square tower, this ruined fortress (Градиште) dominates the village of Grad, which has a population of about 350. Occupied from the Neolithic to the Ottoman period, the site was populated by Greek settlers in the 4th century BC. The remains of a town are still visible and offer beautiful views of the village and the Bregalnica valley. Research conducted in 2001 led to the discovery of a statuette of a female deity dating from 3500 BC and coins from the Greek city of Histiaeus on the island of Evia.
